When designing this knitting pattern, I really wanted to make the most of the natural colours of the Jacob, yarn and design something that would show them off. The chain stripe stitch was ideal for this and creates an interesting effect.

You can choose the combination of colours which best suits your decor. The 100% British Jacob wool is beautiful and very good quality, creating a household item which is both attractive and hard wearing. The wool can be washed by hand at low temperatures should you need to do so.

The pattern is easy to follow for those who have not knitted for a while or who are just learning but interesting enough for those with more experience to appreciate it. I hope you love it as much as I do.
