Featuring the shimmer of a jewellery chain, Chained Melody is stunning to wear and easy to make. It only looks complicated! Using only stitches worked in a knit-fashion (no purls needed), the shawl becomes ‘mindless knitting’ after rows 10 and 11 are established.

Add a touch of elegance while the beads and chain sparkle. Chained Melody is completely reversible and the saw-toothed edge, with a bead at each peak, has a dramatic effect.

Skill level: Intermediate.
Skills needed: knit, k2tog, pick up a stitch, crochet technique to place beads.
