This is a quick and easy cabled scarf, hat and mitten set. The hat band is knit flat with a provisional cast on and then finished with a 3 needle bind off, you then pick up the stitches for the top of the hat and knit in the round. The mittens come in 2 styles, one is a convertible pair that allows you to reveal your fingers, and the other is standard mittens. This set would be a great gift item for people in colder climates!

Gauge’s for each piece are For the scarf: 12 Sts by 15 rows in a 4 inch square in stockinette stitch, before blocking
For the hat: 18 Sts by 22 rows in a 4 inch square in stockinette stitch, before blocking
For the Mittens:
Small Size--18 Sts by 22 rows in a 4 inch square in stockinette stitch, before blocking
Medium Size—16 Sts by 20 rows in a 4 inch square in stockinette stitch, before blocking
Large Size—14 Sts by 18 rows in a 4 inch square in stockinette stitch, before blocking
