Chainmail Blouse
The Chainmail Blouse is a sheer floaty delight featuring a light airy fabric for the body and sleeves, accented by a solid Peter Pan collar, and ribbing.
The blouse is worked from the top down with a provisional CO, and short row shaping for the shoulders. The body and sleeves are knit in the round. The collar is then picked up and knit flat, with a facing for a neat finish.
Gauge for the body: Fluffy Lace weight yarn (Shibui Silk Cloud)
20 stitches and 31 rows in 4” / 10 cm in Stamen Stitch on US 8 / 5 mm needles
Gauge for the collar and ribbing: Lace weight held double (Shibui Lunar)
24 stitches and 40 rows in 4” / 10 cm in Stockinette on US 1.5 / 2.5 mm needles
Instead of holding a laceweight double for the collar and ribbing, you could use a fingering or sport weight yarn that gets you gauge instead.

To combat the additional costs fat knitters face, I’ve added a coupon code for knitters who are often excluded from pattern sizing. For knitters who typically knit size 6-9, all my garment patterns are 20% off with the coupon code ANTIFATTAX.
