Yarn: Worsted weight, around 120 yards.

We all know that Grogu has chosen to wear the Beskar Chainmail gifted to him by Din Djarin, The Mandalorian.

We also all know how absolutely adorable our Baby Yoda is wearing that shiny protective shirt.

My brain can barely handle all that cuteness.

I felt implored to create an undoubtedly much softer knitted Chainmail shirt for our Baby Yoda to wear in comfort.

After many attempts at knitting something that looked like chainmail, I finally came back to the familiar and trusty purl stitch.

I realized that it combined with the ever so slightly shiny yarn, looked the most accurate. The little purls, stacked one atop the other, really look like the highly coveted Beskar used to create the chainmail.

Soon you will be able to grab your Grogu and outfit him in the finest “Beskar” chainmail that can be knit between two needles.

You can rest easy with the knowledge that your Baby Yoda is protected.
