Chakra - Reiki Mobile Dreamcatcher
This crochet pattern design was created as a gift, for someone who had newly qualified as a Reiki Master and was beginning a new chapter in her career as a reiki practitioner. It is entitled “May all your dreams come true” because it incorporates a dreamcatcher and a mobile with each of the chakra symbols, symbolising her dream of becoming a reiki healer.
For those not familiar with Reiki, it is Japanese for “universal life energy” and is used to describe a system of natural healing, Chakra means “wheel of life” and are energy centres found throughout the body. By placing the hands over the corresponding seven major chakra centres if a person is experiencing an imbalance, a trained practitioner performing Reiki, can rebalance them leading to better health.
Each decorative sculpture in this pattern represents 1 of the 7 chakra colours and symbols (crown, third eye, throat, heart, solar plexus, sacral and root) and incorporates a dreamcatcher symbolising the fulfilment of dreams.
