In this case, as the special thing is the wool with which I have knitted it, since for me it is the first time that I have knitted 100% La Mancha wool, I wanted to give it a name closely related to Castilla La Mancha. Thinking and thinking, I remembered “Aldonza Lorenzo”, the real name of “Dulcinea del Toboso” (from “Don Quijote de la Mancha”), surely the latter name sounds more familiar to you.

Gauge:
12 sts x 18 rows = 10 x 10 cm on 5.5 mm needles, in stockinette stitch after blocking.
Gauge has an influence on the size of your finished shawl and your yardage!

Size:
One size: 160x120x100 cm

Yarn
One skein of Wool dreamers - Manchelopi: (you will use almost the entire skein, between 85 and 95 grams)

Needles:
5.50mm and 80 cm cable, or the ones you need to achieve gauge.

Notions:
Tapestry needle for weaving ends.
Stitch markers: It is not essential, but you can place a marker where the lace motif ends. At the end of the shawl, you will knit a motif that is repeated several times, and maybe there you will find markers very useful.

Como la lana es 100% manchega, quería darle un nombre tan relacionado con Castilla La Mancha como la lana.
Pensando y pensando, recordé el de Aldonza Lorenzo, nombre de pila de Dulcinea del Toboso, seguro que este último os suena más.

El patrón incluye instrucciones escritas vuelta a vuelta y también esquema.

Tamaño
El chal mide en la parte más larga 160cm, en el lateral del calado 120cm y en el lateral del remate final 100cm.

Tienes que saber:
Montar puntos.
Tejer del derecho y del revés.
Hacer disminuciones de 2pjD (k2tog) y DDT (ssk). (Incluye videotutorial).
Hacer aumentos TDD (kfb) y echar hebra (yo).
Hacer garbanzos o bodoques o burbujas (como los suelas llamar, de esta técnica se incluye videotutorial).
Cerrar puntos en elástico bien con aguja de punto o bien con aguja de ganchillo/crochet (Se incluye videotutorial de las dos).

Hilo
Un ovillo de manchelopi de wool dreamers: 100 gramos y 230 metros - 100% lana manchega
Pese a la relación gramos/metros, no es una lana de grosor DK, es una lana worsted/aran que además esponja mucho al ser tejida.

Agujas
Circulares 5.50mm, o el tamaño necesario para obtener la muestra. Cable de 80 cm.
Para cerrar, lo puedes hacer con las mismas agujas o con una aguja de crochet del número 5.50

Extras
Marcadores: no es indispensable, pero puedes ponerte un marcador donde acaba el motivo.
Al final del chal, en el remate, sí es conveniente que te pongas marcadores a lo largo del mismo, porque tienes un motivo que se repite varias veces.
Aguja lanera para rematar cabos y coser, metro o regla y tijeras.
