This triangular shaped shawl is very easy to knit and very comfortable to wear and it is also reversible. It is worked from the narrowest part, gradually increasing until reaching the lace edge.
The shawl is knitted in garter stitch, including the end edge, but with a variation, the striped part will be made two rounds on the right side (one of each color) before turning the piece and another two rounds on the wrong side (again one of each color) before turning the piece over. For this it´s necessary to knit this part with circular or double pointed needles. So it´s possible to make a twist on each color and a different effect.

YARN:
2 colours that go well together of Baby Merino yarn from Drops (100% Superwash merino wool); 50g / 175 m or any other similar yarn.
For the shawl I have used 135 grams in total:
C1: 60 gr (off white)
C2: 75 gr (olive green)

NEDDLES AND OTHERS MATERIALS:
-Circular needles 3.5 mm (US4), 4.0 mm (US6) and 4.5 mm (US7) and 5.0 mm (US8) or double pointed needles.
-Darning needle
-Blocking pins

GAUGE:
24 sts x 32 row = 10 cm blocked garter stitch; gauge is not crucial but knitted fabric should be relatively loose.

FINISHED SIZE:
175 cm (69 inches) across by 42 cm (17 inches) down.

Este chal en forma triangular es muy fácil de tejer y muy cómodo de llevar y además es reversible y en dos colores. Se trabaja desde la parte más estrecha sin calado aumentando progresivamente hasta llegar al borde de encaje.
Todo el chal está tejido a punto bobo (punto Santa Clara), incluido
el borde final, todas las vueltas se tejen del derecho, lo que hace que el chal sea reversible y luzca igual por sus dos caras.

MATERIALES:
US 4 / 3,5 mm circulares o de doble punta para el cuerpo del chal.
US 6 / 4 mm para el borde calado.
US 7 / 4,5 mm para cerrar el borde del chal y que quede más elástico.
Aguja lanera para esconder los hilos y alfileres para bloquear.

MUESTRA:
24 puntos x 32 vueltas = 10 x 10 cm

TAMAÑO BLOQUEADO:
El tamaño final una vez bloqueado es de 175 cm de largo y 42 cm de ancho.
