La Mariposa Monarca hace una migración muy especial, y lo hace porque sólo en regiones cálidas alcanzan la madurez sexual para su reproducción y permanencia de su especie. Lo más sorprendente de las Monarcas, es que sin haber realizado nunca la migración, lleva en sus genes la trayectoria precisa del viaje que realizan cada año, descubramos poco a poco cómo lo hacen y por qué digo que es sorprendente.

Materiales: Dos madejas de Feliz y Punto calidad seda 40 (60% merino, 40%seda) grosor fingering color Nogal, esta calidad tiene un metraje de 425m en 100g; (el diseño está pensado para que se pueda tejer con el estándar de este grosor con 100g- 400m), también es necesario un juego de agujas circulares de 4,5mm o las necesarias para conseguir la muestra de tensión indicada, marcadores y opcional un botón de 1.5 cm de diámetro.

Muestra de tensión y dimensiones: Después de bloquear, tenemos 22p y 24v dando una muestra de 10x10 cm tejida en punto jersey,este dato es importante para conseguir las dimensiones finales de 185 cm de largo por 100 cm de ancho, mediante el material indicado en la sección anterior.

The Monarch Butterfly makes a very special migration, and it does so because it can only reach sexual maturity for reproduction and the continuity of their species when they are in warm climates. The most surprising thing about the Monarchs, is that without ever having made the migration themselves, each one carries in its genes the precise trajectory of the trip they will make each year. We’ll discover little by little how they do it and why I say it is surprising.

Materials: Two skeins of Feliz y punto yarn in the seda40 base (60% merino, 40% silk) fingering weight in the colour Nogal, this base has a meterage of 425m in 100g; (the pattern is designed for you to be able to make it with the standard 400m/100g of this weight), you will also need a set of 4.5mm circular needles or the size needed to get the indicated gauge, stitch markers and, optionally, a button of 1.5 cm in diameter.

Gauge and measurements: After blocking, you should have 22sts and 24 rows in a 10 x 10cm swatch worked in stockinette stitch. This data is important in order to achieve the final measurements of 185cm in length and 100cm width, using the material indicated in the previous section.

Le papillon Monarque réalise une migration assez particulière, principalement parce qu’il ne peut atteindre sa maturité sexuelle que dans des régions chaudes, assurant ainsi sa reproduction et donc la survie de son espèce. Le plus surprenant chez les Monarques est que, même s’ils n’ont jamais effectué la migration, la trajectoire exacte du voyage qu’ils réalisent chaque année est inscrite dans leurs gènes ; nous découvrirons petit à petit comment cela est possible et pourquoi je dis que c’est surprenant.

Matériel: Deux écheveaux de la marque Feliz y punto qualité Seda 40 (60% mérinos, 40% soie) grosseur fingering couleur Nogal, cette qualité a un métrage de 425 m pour 100 g (le patron est pensé pour pouvoir être réalisé avec un fil fingering standard de 400 m pour 100 g), des aiguilles circulaires de 4,5 mm ou celles nécessaires pour obtenir l’échantillon indiqué, des marqueurs de mailles et éventuellement un bouton de 1,5 cm de diamètre.

Echantillon et dimensions: Après blocage, nous obtenons 22 mailles pour 24 rangs pour un échantillon de 10 x 10 cm, tricoté en jersey endroit. Cette information est importante pour obtenir les dimensions finales de 185 cm de long pour 100 cm de large, obtenues avec le matériel cité précédemment.
