Comfort food for your needles - these traditional
socks offer all the familiar bits that make sock knitting
soothing. A simple eye of partridge heel flap is
used in this common gusset construction with wedge
toe. The alpaca blend makes the cables even more
cozy without too much bulk; they’ll even fit in standard
shoes.

Stitch pattern is presented in both charted and written formats.

The pattern is written toe up for two circulars so that you can try them on for the perfect foot length as they’re being knit. To keep you interested there are lots of cables, which require a higher stitch count than your standard stockinette sock so you can prolong the joy.

Challah is part of the serialized e-Book Nourishing Knits, where it is paired with a recipe for Smoky Sweet Pumpkin Seeds. Challah is available for purchase individually, without the recipe pairing.

Thanks to Sarah Shrum for testing knitting!
