Chameleon Cowl
This simple and colourful beginners knitting pattern uses two colours to blend together and camouflage each other. The original green colourway published in Board Game Knits vol 2 takes its inspiration from the Chameleon party game box design, where the neon greens blend into each other making them seem slightly less bright! This new Worsted version shows how contrasting colours can blend together more subtly for a more cosy feeling garment. Working in a simple linen stitch, this is a quick beginner friendly pattern, perfect for gift knitting or a quick solution to the chilly weather!
This cowl can be made in any 4ply/sport weight or Worsted weight yarn – approx. 50g of each colour should be sufficient for either version. If you wish to add extra length or width you will need more yarn (see options below).
All details are given for 4ply(worsted) versions.
