The Greeks named this herb Ground Apple, chamai on the ground and melon, apple after the scent it produces. Chamomile is widely used both as a calming tea and for medicinal purposes. It can help relieve problems such as colic, inflamed skin, anxiety, sciatica and gout.
This pattern is worked in the round and I use abbreviations according to US crochet language. I can provide the pattern in UK crochet language if preferred, please just contact me.
The finished chamomile flower is approximately 2.75” (7cm) in diameter. This flower would make a lovely brooch or bag decoration.
Tools Needed:
US size E (3.5mm) crochet hook
scissors
yarn needle
Yarn Needed:
DK acrylic yarn in white and golden yellow.
Other Materials Needed:
tiny bit of polyester/toy stuffing
