Champagne and Silk Wrap
The Champagne and Silk Wrap is a graceful wrap which brings together the elements that we associate with an evening of celebration! Inspiration for the design comes from the glitter of crystal stemware, bubbles rising in cold champagne, the soft whisper of luxurious silk as it moves over the body, and the sparkle of precious jewels against bare skin. Lace, cables and twisted stitches create a sumptuous fabric that is a party all on its own!
The wrap is a rectangle worked from the short side up. The border is worked first, followed by the Body. The second Border is worked separately and grafted to the Body over a plain Stocking stitch row.
