Perusing Pinterest one day, I saw a gorgeous brass Art Deco embellishment on a piece of furniture. I fell in love with it and immediately drew up the chart to knit it; I’m glad I did because I have since lost the inspiration picture. I added my own flair for the center of the motif, et voila! Chance Brasswork was created. I hope you love it! Happy knitting!
Yarn: 3 colors of any Aran weight yarn. Yarn used: Elsebeth Lavold Misty Wool: 1 skein each: Dark Chocolate, Pine Green, Klein Blue
Approximate yardage:
Ribbing (Pine Green): 127yds (116m)
Background color (Dark Chocolate): 58yds (53m)
Foreground color (Klein Blue): 81yds (74m)
Needles: Size US9 (5.5mm) for ribbing, Size US10 (6.0mm) for colorwork.
Gauge: 4.5sts per inch (2.5cm) in stockinette on larger needles.
