The Chance of Sun Shawl features garter stripes and a simple lace motif which showcase the elegant simplicity of Swans Island Washable Merino Sport.

The shawl requires 2 skeins (360 yards) of the main color and 1 skein (180 yards) of the contrast color in the Swans Island Sport. If using the Mad Hatter Sport, 1 skein (344 yards) of each color is required. In both cases, it does not use the entirety of each skein. The size of the shawl is very easy to adjust by adding or subtracting rows from the stockinette portion.
