Chandler is part of the Friends First series. This is a beautiful lightweight pullover with some textured stripes and lots of easy Stockinette!

Chandler is worked from the top down and seamlessly. Starting with the back to the underarm, followed by the front, the work is then joined to knit the body in the round. Stitches are picked up for the set-in sleeves and for the collar. Please note that the number of sts for the shoulders has been reduced slightly after this sample was knit.

You will need:

Approximately 950 (1041, 1120, 1280, 1400, 1550, 1738) metres or 1038 (1138, 1225, 1400, 1530, 1695, 1900) yards of fingering yarn Main Colour (MC) (shown in Orange Flower Superwash Merino in “Crosshatch” and;

Approximately 180 (180, 192, 220, 240, 265, 300) metres or 197 (197, 210, 240, 263, 290, 328) of fingering yarn in a Contrasting Colour (shown in Orange Flower Superwash Merino in “Mercury”) and;

Optional: approximately 40 to 60 metres or 44 to 66 yards in a second Contrasting Colour for 2 stripes on one sleeve

3.5 mm/US 4 circular needle and DPNs
3.25 mm/US 3 circular needle and DPNs

Tapestry needle, stitch markers, waste yarn or stitch holders

Sizes

S (M, L1, L2, XL, XXL, XXXL) = 38.5 (41, 44, 46.5, 51, 55, 59) inches or 98 (104, 112, 118, 130, 150) cm finished circumference at the chest.

Gauge

24 sts and 34 rows = 4” or 10 cm in St st on 3.5 mm/US 4 needle (after blocking)

Chandler est tricoté du haut vers le bas et sans coutûre. Commençant par le dos jusqu’aux emmanchures, et ensuite par le devant, les deux morceaux sont joints pour tricoter le corps en rond. Des mailles sont relevées pour tricoter les manches et la bordure du col. Veuillez noter que le nombre de mailles des épaules a été réduit légèrement après que celui porté par le modèle ait été tricoté.
