One headband—many looks.
Make just one headband and then as many central bands as you want in different colours and styles!

This super headband can be worn on its own or can be jazzed up by adding removeable central bands. Patterns are provided for 4 different central bands.

The central bands attach to the main headband by a button at the centre back. The centre bands are made slightly shorter than the main headband and that small amount of extra tightness helps to keep them in place.

The main headband uses approx 30g of a DK weight yarn, and the central bands use between 11g and 24.5g - it is a super stashbuster!

Once you have made the central bands in this pattern, use the same idea to make up your own central bands for even more variations.

Options are given to choose a provisional cast on/3 needle bind off construction or a standard cast on/bind off and seamed construction.
