Change Your Mind Socks
Change Your Mind Socks are the next pattern in my Change Your Mind series, which also includes a shawl and cowl. These patterns were born out of a happy accident, because I couldn’t decide on what pattern to create or colors to use. Sometimes momentary indecision can lead to a creative breakthrough. Instead of ripping out my work, I just kept going. The simple garter stitch makes for a soothing project while the eyelets and different colored cuffs, heels, and toes add just the right pop of fun. The pattern includes 3 sizes, written top down with a slip stitch heel flap and Kitchener toe. Choose a contrasting mini skein, or work the socks in all one color. This pattern can also work for variegated yarns, but be aware that it may obscure some of the texture. See Page 6 for other versions of the socks in different yarns. Special thanks to testers Catherine Gaertig and Maryse Cossette.
