It is not a detailed pattern. You need to know how to make mitts before you will be able to use this pattern. I added a thumb gusset since the stranding doesn’t have as much stretch as plain knitting. If you choose to go with an afterthought thumb, you will probably need to add stitches at the top of the cuff.
