Chantal!: elegance for the dolls! Just the thing for the Easter holidays.
They had a wonderful time going for a walk today in the Spring sunshine!
An easy pattern to make this calls for:
1 x 50g ball of DK weight yarn. Light worsted may be substituted.
About 10-15g contrast colour for the i-cord borders. Clear instructions are given for working the i-cord.
The gauge is 5sts and 7 rows for 1” worked on size 4mm (US 6) short circular needle.
I used a 16” circular needle which is just the right size for working the skirt in the round. DPNs could also be used.
A stitch marker or loop of waste yarn is useful to mark the start of the round.
A small button for the skirt waistband.
The pattern has been testknit but if you have any problems please don’t hesitate to contact me!
Many thanks to my wonderful testers!
