Chaotic Color is a shawl constructed sideways exploring a few different techniques with three colors, creating an impressive work of art. As a simple sequence of increases and decreases shape the shawl, cabled slip stitches, short rows, eyelets, and your choice of three vibrant colors make this a fun project that everyone will covet!

MATERIALS:
Three skeins of fingering yarn, each a different color.
(Shalimar Yarns – Breathless:
• Color A: Neptune – 300 yds
• Color B: Slag – 250 yds
• Color C: Red Hot Minute – 180 yds)
US 3 40” circ needle.
Tapestry needle
GAUGE AND MEASUREMENTS:
About 84” in wingspan. 16” from top to the deepest tip.
About 10 sts and 11 garter ridges every 2” in garter stitch. Gauge not critical for this project.

PATTERN NOTES: The edged where the kfb stitches occur will be a bit tight, so use a slightly loose tension, especially because yarns will be stranded along this edge. When a new color is introduced, strand yarn until you are told to break the yarn. This will lessen the number of ends to sew in at the end
