I used basically 140 yards for the main color and scrap yarn for the details of the face . white ,black,petal pink , pumpkin orange. and for the scrap yarn it varies from 30 to 75 yards depending on the color used. The hook I used was a 3.5mm I like the closeness it gives on the texture of the rug. So feel free to use a different hook . If you want there is always the felt that you can get for the face decorations its up to you.
