I named this pattern the Charity Hat because of a quote I saw on January 19th by Martin Luther King Jr. And I decided that all of my hats will have names of virtues.

The quote:

“Every man must decide whether he will walk in the light of creative altruism or in the darkness of destructive selfishness.” - MLK Jr.

As a creative person, this spoke to my soul.

And I decided that for every CHARITY hat or hat pattern that I sell, I will donate 10% of proceeds to charity.

This pattern is an ADVANCED BEGINNER pattern. Written instructions for all stitches necessary are included.

SIZING:
The hat is designed to fit heads between 20” and 24” - pretty much any child through adult.
Adjustments are included to fit toddlers between 18” and 20”.

This pattern was designed using a Super Bulky weight yarn, and adjustments for smaller sizes use a Chunky weight yarn.
