The slit neck top is knitted continuously in one piece from the bottom up, then you cast on stitches for the cap sleeves. It is folded at the neckline and you just sew down both sides. A simple two-colour slip stitch pattern that has line-by-line instructions.

The hat and shorts are both knitted from the bottom up and the little socks are knitted from the top down on straight needles, again with line-by-line instructions and no fiddly calculations to work out it’s all written out in the pattern which makes this pattern very easy to follow.
