This pattern is of confident beginner difficulty.

Yarn required DK; 1 (2, 2) balls.

The hat is worked in the round, with a 2x2 rib on circular 3.5mm needles. The main part of the hat is worked on 4.00mm needles. The cable pattern is charted, and worked until decreases for the crown, which are also charted.

The hat is designed to be a fairly close fit, but you can size up, and work beyond the given lengths, if you prefer a looser fit.
