Charlie Dungarees
This pattern is of intermediate level difficulty.
The dungarees are worked from the bottom up, in the round, then joined at the crotch. The body is continued in the round, then split to work front & back bibs. As the leg sections are narrow, I would recommend using DPNs or magic loop.
The dungarees are designed to be a traditional close stretch fit. These fitted Scandi style dungarees are worked in the style of footless leggings with a low bib. They have no waistband so they are comfortable over tummies and nappies, and the bib and straps keep them in place on active babies.
Ankle cuffs and bib edging are worked in twisted rib.
The feather cable stitch pattern is charted.
DK yarn required, 50g balls x 2 (3, 3, 4 )
We’ve also designed a pattern for leggings, cardigan and bonnet to match these dungarees.
