This hat is designed to match the Garter Sweater
And the North Pole Socks.

So warm, soft, and stretchy!
People will not believe that this is crochet, not knit!
The hat is completely made with slip stitches, the ribbing as well as the garter-stitch, creating a beautiful surface.

For a crocheter sl sts are slow to work. The same speed as for knitting! But you will be rewarded with a very special fabric!
With bulky yarn and large hook, this hat is done in short time!

I may recommend this basic hat also to almost-beginners!

My yarn: Drops/Eskimo, 100 % wool, color 01 natural.
Skein 50 g = 50 m (1.8 oz = 54 yrd)
WPI (Wrap per Inch): 6-7

Amount:
100 g (3.6 oz) all sizes (two skeins).
For optional Pom-Pom, and/or taller hat; + 1 skein.

Crochet hooks:
Body: EU metric 9 mm (US M/13)
Ribbing: EU 7 mm (US K/10.5 for tight, or L/11 for looser)

Sizes:
Any size.
Width: The hat is worked sideways, adjust to fit.
Tall:
White hat: 25 cm (10 inch)
Pink and Grey hats: 30 cm (12 inch)
