Meet the Charlie hat - a mix of tunisian and standard crochet and a true beauty. Tunisian crochet hat patterns are still few and far between. Tunisian crochet fabrics are typically horizontally quite inelastic, plus it is quite difficult to work a hat top down in tunisian.

The Charlie hat pattern is worked bottom up, and it beats that typical lack of stretchiness with a lush ribbing worked in standard crochet. The ribbing, to be crocheted in the row, harmonizes perfectly with the tunisian honeycomb stitch - a spectacular stitch pattern which is surprisingly easy to work in the round.

The written crochet pattern offers links to picture tutorials and contains pictured instructions as well. You should bring basic knowledge of tunisian crochet. You’re fine if you know that there is more than one stitch to tunisian crochet, and if you have heard of tunisian crochet in the round before. Even if you haven’t tried every technique used in this pattern before, you’ll rock the Charlie hat, and you’ll be proud of it.

Charlie glänzt mit einem schön elastischen, breiten Umschlag, der in der Reihe gehäkelt wird. Das sachliche, eher grobe Muster des Bündchens harmoniert wunderbar mit dem zarten Wabenmuster der Krone, welche Du mit der tunesischen Häkelnadel in der Runde arbeitest. Charlie ist ein echtes Schmuckstück., und durch die verschiedenen Häkeltechniken hast Du viel Abwechslung und Spaß mit diesem Projekt.

Die geschriebene Häkelanleitung enthält sowohl Links zu Fototutorials, als auch bebilderte Anweisungen. Du solltest Grundkenntnisse des tunesischen Häkelns bereits mitbringen. Idealerweise weißt Du, dass es verschiedene tunesische Stiche gibt und hast zumindest schon einmal gehört oder gelesen, dass man für das tunesische Häkeln in der Runde eine doppelseitige Häkelnadel und 2 Garnknäuel benötigt. Aber auch wenn Du zuvor noch nicht alle Techniken ausprobiert hast, wirst Du Charlie in kurzer Zeit fertigstellen und kannst Dich über Deine schöne Mütze freuen.
