Charlotte Shrug
Level of Difficulty: Intermediate
Yarn Weight: 4-Medium
Level of Concentration: Keep your eye on it
The Charlotte Shrug is loose fitting, with voluminous sleeves and a faux crochet knitted back. Knit from sleeve to sleeve, this shrug is rated Intermediate because of the lace and picking up stitches for the collar. The yarn suggested is Hemp for Knitting Hempwol a lovely yarn that changes after laundering. Remember those cellulosic fibres are strongest when wet so don’t fret to block.

Technical Tip About The Fabric
Knit in Hempwol the Charlotte Shrug will finish 1-1.5”/2.5-4cm longer after blocking. This particular hemp yarn, blended with wool, appears lighter and more crisp than other blended hemp yarns. After blocking, a final light steam will remove any additional creases and will loosen up the fibres.
