The set includes three flower inspired colourwork sock patterns. All available with 3 different sizes to choose from.

I love all seasons, even the quiet, gloomy days of Winter, filled with endless hours inside knitting, while enjoying the comfort of our homes. But by the end of Winter, I am seriously craving some colour to help blast away the continual grey of the skies and I long to see some vibrant flowers again. So I have grabbed my needles and colourful yarn and created some sock patterns for us to enjoy some early blooms. Whatever the season or weather!

There are three sock patterns included in this flower inspired sock set.

  1. Dutch Courtyard socks, feature small, easy to knit, flower motifs inspired by the Spring flowers that can be seen in the courtyards and balconies in Europe. Perfect for colourwork sock beginners!
  2. Cosy Rosy socks have a repeating, traditional Rose motif sock pattern and look great in any of your favourite two contrasting colour combos.
  3. Playful Pansy socks are possibly the most colourful pattern of the set and are inspired by all the different pansy flower colour combos you can find in Spring.

All 3 patterns are knit from the top down with a ribbed cuff. They have a short row heel (video tutorial included!) and all 3 feature different stranded colourwork floral patterns throughout the leg and foot of the socks. Toes are finished by grafting stitches together. These patterns are written using the magic loop circular needle method (but can be knit with 23cm (9 inch) circulars or DPNs).
