Charm a la Russe – is an elegant triangle shawl with different stitch patterns. Light shades of yarn will look better.
Triangular shawls are loved by Russian women and add a touch of your individuality to your casual look.

SIZE (lightly blocked)
Wingspan -140 cm
Center depth - 65 cm
Your shawl may have a different size as it depends on the yarn that you choose. Try to take yarn to fit the gauge. Don’t take too thin yarn as your shawl will be very small then.

YARN
LoroPiana Clan (85% cashmere, 15% mohair, 350m/100g). My shawl is knitted in a light grey blue color.
You may take any wool yarn to fit gauge.
Do not take any yarn with acrylic fibers. I do not recommend tweed yarn as your cables will look flat.

YOU WILL NEED
NEEDLES
One 32” (80 cm) US 4 (3.5 mm) circular needles
Also you will need: 4 stitch markers, tapestry needle, blocking wires or T-pins, one cable needle, crochet hook 3.0 mm for bobbles*
* or you may make bobbles with needles using your favorite method

GAUGE
16 stitches and 29 rows - 10x10 cm after blocking

YOUR KNITTING SKILLS
You should knit and purl, make yarn over, k2tog and ssk, knit basic cables, make crochet or in your style bobbles, bind off.
