Charmed and Dangerous
Charmed and Dangerous, using a full skein of fingering plus a full skein of mohair or 1 strand of sport weight yarn, creates 2 wonderfully warm cowls (1 small and large cowl or 2 small cowls or a small and medium cowl). Make one for you and one for a knit worthy friend! This pattern is easily modified for a wider or smaller cowl both in circumference and depth. The pattern is an 8-stitch repeat. Every 16 stitches added or subtracted will change the circumference approximately 3”. Every 12 rows of the pattern repeat will increase or decrease the depth by approximately 3 inches. This pattern gives two options for the edging, either a folded hem or a seed stitch edge. If you don’t want to add the lace, simply work stockinette st and let the yarn shine.
