Charming Chinese Dragon
This pattern is written for experienced knitters and uses many techniques. Most of the pattern is knitted without seams and only the head and legs are knitted separately and then sewn onto the body. The head is knitted in 1 piece. It is not a ‘quick knit’ but the finished product is well worth the time and effort that goes into it.
This pattern uses about 55g of Noro Kureyon sock yarn and If you use this yarn you will obtain a dragon about 30” long, but you can use any weight yarn so long as you choose needles to give a gauge that is tight enough so that the stuffing does not show through the knitting. You will need a couple of yards of yarn in different colors for the eyes and teeth.
You will need double point needles and 2 circular needles.
The body is stabilized with chenille sticks and filled with polyester fill.
