Charted Leaping Deer Design
Discontinued.
This digital pattern is no longer available online.
Charted and slightly adapted by Sandi Marshall.
Original chart was found in The Antonie Ehrlich Crochet Book, No. 3, Filet Crochet, published in 1915.
From the website: You could work this design either in filet crochet or make a crocheted background to cross-stitch the design on. It’s shown here with an optional fringed edging.
When made with sport weight yarn in a 4 dc mesh, using a US size G hook, it’s a nice afghan size of about 68 inches x 69 inches. It would also be great made in thread as a wallhanging or banner. The uses are varied per the weight of thread or yarn you decide to make it in.
