Chase the Chill Away Fingerless Mitts and Earwarmers
Chase the Chill Away Fingerless Mitts and Earwarmers are perfect for the first days of fall when the temperatures begin to dip, but it’s still too warm to pull out hats and mittens. Whether you’re at the football game, making S’mores over a roaring bonfire, or just taking a walk in the crunching leaves, this set is sure to keep you comfy. The mitts and earwarmers, which are knit flat and then seamed, are a very quick knit, making them ideal for gift-giving.
A note on yardage: 220 yards will make both pieces with some to spare if you are making the S/M mitts. If you are making the Large mitts, you will use up most of the yarn, so you may want to have an extra ball just in case.
A note on gauge: Make sure to make a gauge swatch. I tend to be a loose knitter, so I usually have to go down a needle size on most patterns. Keep this in mind when swatching for this project.
