Chasing Dreams Sweater

About:
Cable and lace patterns make for a wonderful texture, I love the way when knit up, they flow and pair so well together. This is my first sweater design, inspired by the way children love to explore and dream. Knitted using 8ply/DK weight merino yarn, this pullover is knit bottom up and in the round. It features a centre panel with a beautiful lace and braided cable design. The boxy shoulders are shaped using german short rows before being bound off using the three needle bind off method. The sleeves are picked up around the armhole and knit down to the cuff.

Recommended Yarn: DK / 8ply weight 100% Merino.
Gauge: 22 stitches x 30 rows = 10cm

Meterage: Approximately:
Sizes: 2 - 540m (590yds) / 3 - 560m (612yds) / 4 - 600m (656yds) / 6 - 800m (875yds) / 8 - 900m (984yds) / 10 - 1010m (1105yds) / 12 - 1370m (1498yds)

2 (58cm), 3 (60.5cm), 4 (63cm), 6 (65cm), 8 (70cm), 10 (74cm), 12 (76cm).
This sweater is designed with a large positive ease of approximately 17-18cm through the body. This gives it an oversized design feature. See Table on next page for measurements in more detail.
