Chasing Joy
Joy. I went looking for it and landed right here. My favorite shawl shape in a few stashed skeins that I was just itching to knit. I didn’t know it when I started knitting this shawl, but this was absolute, complete JOY. Easy soothing rows of garter stitch with a little punch of fun stripes in a color shifting yarn. Impossible to put down, and guaranteed to make you smile. It didn’t need to be fancy, or have some schtick. Knitting joy for me comes in those little pockets of time where you can sneak in a few rows of knitting, and what better way than something easy to knit, and great to grab and travel with.
Go find your pocket of Joy. (And don’t forget to go out and put your feet in the grass every once in a while. Okay?)
