Indulge in the Chasing the Hounds Cowl for a warm, wild, and wonderful knitting adventure!
The warmth is created by holding DK weight yarn double to knit a layer of garter stitch overlaid with densely woven cables. The wild part is creating a houndstooth fabric with incredible texture. The wonderful part is that test knitters found this technique intuitive and easy to memorize!
This pattern is suitable for knitters of all levels, from adventurous beginners to experienced knitters seeking new challenges. The accompanying tutorials not only demonstrate each cable stitch but also guide you in reading your fabric, understanding cable movements, and fixing mistakes.
Please see the project pages for knotart & anne-marie. They knit the continuous version available in this pattern’s appendix.
ERRATA: On page 9 in the glossary the definition of T2F1 should begin with “Slip 2 sts to CN….”
