Chauncey
This is a crochet pattern for the character Chauncey from the book “The House In The Cerulean Sea” by TJ Klune, based on the artwork by the artist Mariana Avilez.
Chauncey is described as:
an amorphous green blob with bright red lips. And black teeth. And eyes on stalks that stuck high above his head, seemingly moving independently of each other. He didn’t have arms so much as tentacles with tiny suckers along their lengths. He was not quite see-through
and we learn later that he is possibly part jellyfish and part sea cucumber, though, as Mr Parnassus says, “it doesn’t explain his appendages”.
Chauncey is absolutely pure sunshine, and his one ambition in life is to be the best bellhop in the world.
You can find out more by reading his Case File here.
