These socks have a comfortable round toe that doesn’t need grafting to close. The afterthought heel is saved with waste yarn and easy to knit.
The Beginning
CO 56 stitches on 4 dbl point needles K1 P1 for 1 inch
K 3 rounds
Arrange sts as follows:
Needle 1: 18 sts (pattern)
Needle 2: 10 sts (knit only)
Needle 3: 18 sts (pattern)
Needle 4: 10 sts (knit only)
Work chart till desired leg length, or 6 repeats/5-1/4in. from beginning.
