Yarn:

You will need 1 x 100g ball of yarn in each of two contrasting colours (2 balls total).

Additional items:

• Length of 2cm-wide black elastic
• Black sewing thread
• Paid of 4.5mm circular needles
• 1 button (1.5cm diameter).

From the pattern description:

Worked in stocking stitch in an Op Art style black and white check this is just the coat for the dog about town.

Although the coat is a simple shape in stocking stitch, following the chart and working the two-colour check pattern takes some skill.
