A boxy, cropped jumper inspired by the “afterthought check” technique.

The fabric is worked in an open lattice treble stitch pattern, which makes it look very textured, while remaining open and airy. The “afterthought check” involves working horizontal stripes of colour in the pattern stitch, and following up with surface crochet for the vertical stripes.

The garment is made in pieces and seamed.
