This is a PDF that describes how I’ve been making socks using Tunisian Crochet (using flat work for the toes and heels, and in-the-round work for the rest of the sock).

I list a brief description of the steps I follow (with pictures) then a more details set of instructions (with a lot more pictures).

I use worsted-weight yarn (Berrocco Comfort) with I/9/(5.5 mm) hooks for the instructions and pictures. I recommend trying this first, before switching to finer sock yarn and G/6/(4.0 mm) for nicer results.

I cannot stress enough that this is NOT a beginner project. My hope is that other more advanced Tunisian Crocheters will learn from these instructions to create their own designs.

Later note: I am not specifying a yarn and I don’t know how that got changed.
