Checkerboard Lace pattern is created using reverse stockinette for the basket weave texture and a lace pattern to create the checkerboard effect. It is a beginner friendly intermediate pattern and uses knit, purl, yarn over, k2tog and ssk stitches to give it it’s unique texture and design.
The pattern is written instructions and includes chart.
The pattern is worked in the round and gives detailed instructions on how to make a COWL and A HAT.
