This pattern is for making an adorable Checkered bucket beanie, much needed at cold winter days, it’s very pretty and cosy; and could be a lovely gift :)

You can choose whichever colours you like for the hat; I’ve used two colours, but you can make it much more colourful.

Head circumference is about: 22.8” (58 cm).
Hat height (without the brim) is about: 7” (18cm).
The pattern includes instruction on how to adjust the size.

In this pattern round endings are stitched perfectly !! You won’t be able to tell where they are !!

This is a really fun pattern, using simple crochet stitches and Tunisian Entrelac crochet stitches, which are described in detail.

These are great to crochet, you will learn them with this pattern (if you don’t know them already), and could use them in future projects.

There is no need for a long hook for this pattern.
