This is an easy pattern using an easy repeat and can be attempted by advanced beginners. Uses sc, sc-blo, dc and ch sts.

This pattern has been tested using :
a) 4-ply light fingering acrylic yarn, Oswal mills , 25 g / 105 yds each colour ; 4mm crochet hook ;

b) Madejas & Gjestal Baby Ull; 58.7 yards, 8 grams& 63 yards, 16 grams ; 4 mm crochet hook ;

c) Knit Picks Gloss – 1 strand didn’t seem like enough, so I held 2 strands together ; 88 g ; 4 mm crochet hook ;

d) Regia Sock 4-ply & Patons Fairytale 4-ply ; Green & yellow DK acrylic from stash ; 13g with 4-ply, 21g with DK ; 4mm crochet hook ;
