I love mushrooms and I love checkered print. And so I thought to myself, why not combine the two? The Checkered Mushroom Cardi is a loose, open-style cardigan combining these fun elements and stripes into a modern design. Construction:
The Checkered Mushroom Cardi is knit from the bottom up, flat, as one piece. The sleeves are worked outward from the body in the round and the ribbed neckline and shawl collar is worked last.

Needles:
Size 7 (4.5 mm) 32-40” / 80-100 cm
circular needle and additional needles for your preferred method for working small circumference knitting; adjust needle size to obtain gauge. Suggest sizing up one needle size for stranded colorwork portions.
