Checkered Past Tea Towel
This pattern is available as a

Why a checkered past? I first knitted this checkered tea towel years ago, just to see if I could. I still love it, and it reminds me to try new things.
Knits and purls combine to make a checkerboard pattern in groups, which makes the pattern easy to memorize.
The colors you can use are endless, and the yarn is inexpensive cotton - or just use scrap yarn. The tea towel looks the same front and back.
Knitting Level: Beginner
