The Checkered Sweater Vest is suitable for advanced beginners. Made flat from the bottom up. First the front panel is made using intarsia to create the colour work pattern, then the back is made in one (main) colour. The shoulders are attached with the three needle bind off and the sides are attached using mattress stitch. Stitches are then picked up around the neck and arm holes to create the ribbing.

This is a fun, quick knit, great for beginners wanting to learn some new techniques.
