Checkers Hand Towel
One day I was wondering how to use up some bits of cotton yarn
that I had in my stash. I needed some new towels for my kitchen
and I remembered the ones that my Grandma used to make out of
the kitchen towels from the store. She would cut them in half, width
wise, and crochet a top. Why couldn’t I knit those? Then I thought,
why stop there? Maybe knitters would want a rectangular towel and
wash/dish cloth to make a set.
